In addition to data collection, our research services include rigorous analysis of the data and preparation of engaging products to communicate findings.
Planning
Literature review, research of best practices, and performing needs assessments. This also includes collecting input from stakeholders and development of justification documents.

Data Analytics
Review and analyze data for trends, outliers, and significant findings. Develop charts and tables to highlight the analytics. Write technical documentation on methodologies, metadata, and findings.
Data Collection and Review
Collect and compile data from a variety of sources. Perform quality control on data, checking for data accuracy, precision, and reasonableness. Develop and document data workflows.
Geocoding and Data Import
Geocode data to convert addresses and route references for use in geosptail analysis and map display. We use address locator services and linear referencing systems (LRS) to obtain high match rates and accuracy.
Coordinate System Design
Design and select coordinate systems best suited to the needs of the client. For areas where “ground” coordinates are desired, rigorously defined Low Distortion Projections can be designed that are compatible with a wide range of software packages.
Data Visualization
Create custom, interactive data dashboards that display and report data analytics. Provide assistance in selecting the most appropriate data to display. Design and develop dashboards that are visually engaging and simple to navigate.

Perform cartographic mapping employing best practices for cartography and graphic design. Design and develop online, interactive maps for use in analysis, reporting, and data distribution. Create hard copy maps for use in reports, displays, and other materials.
Design information graphics, or infographics, that provide a simple yet powerful method for reporting on often complex data insights. These infographics are often developed as a stand-alone product but can also be used in reports and presentations.
Education and Training
Deliver seminars and workshops to educate users on geodetic issues relevant to their work. These can be tailored to suit particular audiences, including GIS and planning professionals.
Provide hands-on training on “best practices” for the use of GIS software packages, data visualization, and reporting.
